Metalcore is a multiplayer combined arms shooter that features mechs, tanks, infantry, and planes. Fight against other player players, explore, and complete missions to gather resources to craft mighty war machines to defeat your enemies!
Metalcore is a combined arms shooter featuring over 150 Mechs, tanks, infantry, and airplanes to craft and collect. Players can join an open world that has PVE gameplay and PVP events. PVP gameplay will pit the three factions against each other in varied open-world events for dominance of the planet Kerberos and its resources. PVE gameplay focuses on exploration, looting, and completing missions to earn them crafting materials, and crafting blueprints.
MetalCore is being developed as a joint collaboration between Studio 369 and Umbrella Network. With concept artwork designed by Hugo award-winning artist Stephan Martiniere and built on Unreal Engine by industry veterans from Studio 369, the combined team has an extensive track record of working on multiple AAA title games such as Fortnite, The Walking Dead, Star Trek, Gears of War 3, Mortal Combat, Mech Warrior 2, and many others, in addition to working on design and illustration for some of Hollywood’s most successful film franchises such as The Avengers, Star Wars, Star Trek and more.
MetalCore’s blockchain and NFT-based design and development will be handled by Umbrella Network, which will bring extensive experience in blockchain development and data management. MetalCore aims to bring a more sophisticated and complex P2E gaming experience for more serious gamers.
MetalCore is a Massively Multiplayer Online Combat Action Play2Earn game set in a dystopian future. The Earth has been polluted into ruin and a portion of humankind has escaped to an inhospitable distant planet 1,000 light years away. Factions arose during the millennium-long journey and they now wage an endless war on a metal-rich alien environment to control resources and dominate the planet.
Built from the ground up as a blockchain-based, persistent open-world game, MetalCore is not your vanilla MMO game. In true metaverse fashion, players can engage in Player Vs. Player (PvP), Player Vs. Environment (PvE), Battle Royale, turn-based strategy, and even Real-Time Strategy.
MetalCore will offer players all of the tools for an immersive gaming experience and opens multiple avenues to play and earn the in-game currency, $FAB, which can be freely converted and traded via exchanges.
Players can choose to be a Metal Baron from one of the three perennially warring factions and join the battle for planetary conquest.

MetalCore’s in-game token, FAB, can be used to buy and customize the vast vehicular ecosystem that includes aircraft, gunships, fighter jets and bombers, and others that all fight in the same open-world battlefields. Using a fair, open marketplace, players can pit their vehicles in battle, or choose to gift, trade, or rent them to other players. Players will also be able to collect rare weapons, pilots, cosmetic meshes, and skins — all tradable as NFTs in an open marketplace.
In regular MMO gaming, you grind and put all your time collecting resources, leveling up your characters, but at the end of the day, all of these resources are not owned by the player and cannot be used or monetized outside of the game.
Blockchain and cryptocurrency-based Decentralized Finance is starting to decouple people’s finances from their dependence on banks and traditional financial infrastructure. Blockchain and NFT-based games are doing the same thing for the traditional gaming industry, providing an opportunity for players to own and monetize their in-game assets, currencies, and collectibles.
In MetalCore, everything from the land, garages, and exclusive gear to the war machines, pilots, and in-game currencies, is an NFT on the Blockchain and owned by the player.
This means that what you own, earn, build, or upgrade is truly yours.
So whether you want to customize your vehicles or gear and sell them on OpenSea, swap your in-game FAB tokens on exchanges, rent your war machines to other players, hire others to play for you, or collect rent on the land owned by your faction, it can all be done.
You can combine the various monetized elements of the game in a modular fashion. This enables the player to not only be a gamer but also an income generator that owns a diverse portfolio of assets — with real stakes.
MetalCore Roadmap & NFT Mints
As part of the development of the game and its in-game assets, MetalCore will be releasing several classes of NFTs in the coming months to the public, in preparation for the game launch in mid-2022. The initial NFT public sale will be held in early January 2022, where 10,000 unique war machines will be minted and released. There will be many opportunities to be whitelisted for the upcoming NFT drops.
